Two-tone spacer name-bead of cream colored faience inlaid with bluish-green glazed composition, bearing the prenomen cartouche of Seti I, the son of Re, Seti beloved of Ptah, with four piercings for suspension. Mounted
Formerly in the Dr. & Mrs. Goddard DuBois Collection, excavated in Egypt between 1900-1907. The DuBois collection was loaned to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 1920s-1930s, then to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts where it was exhibited for another 20 years until its final exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Man. Several works from their collection remain at the Met Museum, the MFA, and the Museum of Man.
