Priapos standing frontally, surrounded by palm trees with hanging wreath of wine leaves and grapes, his knees bent which further emphasizes the disproportionate nature of a dwarf like figure, dressed in a belted chiton, a circular vent hole to expose his phallus, his facial features with bulging forehead, large eyebrows, ears, moustache and beard, resemble Silenos. A suspension hole at the top.

The gesture of being surrounded by palm trees seem to hint at the ex voto-character of the terracotta which may have been offered to the god to ensure the good production. Representations of Priapos in a palm environment indicate the offerings were made at cult statues of the divine guardian of the gardens.

At Medusa-art.com, we believe that anyone who desires to acquire antiquities should be able to do so. We are passionate about this belief and offer interest-free installments of up to 10 months on particular items (based on item value). Items eligible for payment plan are indicated by clicking on the Payment Plan link found on each item page.

HOW IT WORKS

    Payment plans are available on orders starting at $900.
    A deposit of $300 or 10%, which ever is greater, of the total price is required upon purchase.
    The balance must be paid in installments of at least $300 or 10% per months, whichever is greater.
    Select your monthly payment term from the dropdown menu at checkout.
    Title remains the property of Medusa Ancient Art, Inc. until payment is made in full.
    Your order will ship once payment is made in full. 


NOTE: Some items do not qualify for payment plans. All payment plan orders must be paid within 10 months from the order date. Exceeding this tiem frame will result in forfeiture. To get your order faster, you can pay-off your order in full or increase your monthly payments at any time.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES on PAYMENT PLANS

You may cancel your payment plan purchase within three (3) months, a 15% restocking-fee will apply. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on items purchased on the payment plan. However, we provide our lifetime money-back guarantee of authenticity. If the piece you purchase is not as represented by Medusa-art.com, you will be refunded the purchase price in full – it’s that simple.
