Attributed to the Kantharos group. The large lid decorated with two profile female heads, each with hair bound in a sakkos and wearing a radiate stephane, necklace and earring, with a palmette on either side, the knopped finial with a rosette and band of wave pattern on the rim. The lid and base with very fine hematite-like metallic grey.
