Quartzite relief fragment, bearing the Horus name of King Apries, “Enduring of Mind” the first of five names in the royal titulary. Carved in sunk with hr (Horus falcon), wAH (swab), and ib (heart).
King Apries (prenomen Haa-ib-re, nomen Wah-ib-re), son of Psamtek II and Takhuat, was the fourth king of the Twenty-sixth dynasty of Egypt, 589–570 BC.
