Depicting Horus, indicated by a fragmented side lock of youth falling over his right shoulder, the god standing nude over a crocodile, holding snakes and scorpions in each hand, inscribed with hieroglyphs on the reverse and base with five columns of protective magical spells. Mounted.

The Egyptians believed Isis had raised Horus by hiding him in the marshes from his enemy, Seth. The legend of Horus’s healing from scorpion stings and snakebites in the marshes was the basis for cippi (cippus), or magical stela, such as this one. With proper recitations, a liquid poured over the stela by either the owner, a priest, or a physician would be charged with the power of the inscribed spells and images. Persons who desired a cure or protection against poisonous wounds could drink this liquid or pour it over themselves.

At Medusa-art.com, we believe that anyone who desires to acquire antiquities should be able to do so. We are passionate about this belief and offer interest-free installments of up to 10 months on particular items (based on item value). HOW IT WORKS

    Payment plans are available on orders starting at $900.
    A deposit of $300 or 10%, which ever is greater, of the total price is required upon purchase.
    The balance must be paid in installments of at least $300 or 10% per months, whichever is greater.
    Select your monthly payment term from the dropdown menu at checkout.
    Title remains the property of Medusa Ancient Art, Inc. until payment is made in full.
    Your order will ship once payment is made in full. 


NOTE: Some items do not qualify for payment plans. All payment plan orders must be paid within 10 months from the order date. Exceeding this tiem frame will result in forfeiture. To get your order faster, you can pay-off your order in full or increase your monthly payments at any time.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES on PAYMENT PLANS

You may cancel your payment plan purchase within three (3) months, a 15% restocking-fee will apply. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on items purchased on the payment plan. However, we provide our lifetime money-back guarantee of authenticity. If the piece you purchase is not as represented by Medusa-art.com, you will be refunded the purchase price in full – it’s that simple.
